A groom has revealed the real reason he broke down in tears as he saw his bride walking down the aisle on their wedding day.
Gabriel Deku, from London, was overcome with emotion as he saw his wife-to-be Annabella walking towards him at their lavish ceremony at St Martin In The Fields church at Trafalgar Square.
Cameras captured the moment his beautiful bride made her way to the altar in a poignant but the minute Gabriel caught a glimpse of her the tears started flowing.
The congregation broke into loud cheers when they saw the 25-year-old's reaction, while his best man, Tolu Ige, encouraged him to hold it together.
Gripping his friend by the shoulder, Tolu, who first introduced the couple four years ago, urged: 'Come on, stand up, stand up. This is your moment, man. You look at her.
'You look at her now, you look at her man. You look at her. You stand up and you look at your wife.'
Evidently struggling to stem the tears, Gabriel, who met his wife in a Ted Baker store in 2012, wiped his eye while his friend said: 'You look her in the eye.'
