Kate & Prince William's Heartfelt Message To For Orlando Victims

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a visit to the U.S. Embassy in London on Tuesday morning, where they signed a book of condolences for the victims of Sunday’s mass shooting in Orlando, Florida.
The couple spoke briefly with U.S. ambassador Matthew Barzun, and then both took a turn writing in the book. William wrote, “With our deepest condolences and with our thoughts and prayers to all those affected.” Kate then signed her name under William’s message, next to her husband’s signature. The pair also met with members of the embassy staff who had worked before on L.G.B.T. issues. Forty-nine people were killed by a gunman in Sunday’s attack on Orlando gay club Pulse and dozens of others were wounded, in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
Per the official Clarence House Twitter account, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall signed the virtual condolence book for the victims, writing, “Our hearts go out to all of those who have lost loved ones and to those who have been injured in this unspeakably barbaric attack. You are in our special prayers.”

The official Kensington Royal Instagram account posted a photograph of William and Kate’s embassy visit, with the note: “The Duke and Duchess offer their condolences for the victims of the terrible attack on Orlando's Pulse nightclub, signing a book of condolence at the US Embassy. The book was signed in front of a flag presented to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by the Kaleidoscope Trust, who work to uphold the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people internationally.”
